Hanan's groundbreaking communications and marketing products and programs played a key role in engaging and broadly reaching tens of thousands of Palestinian women and their families. To make sure that messages and materials would inspire change and generate greater demand for health and nutrition services, Hanan developed high quality products that reflected women's identified concerns.

The materials, which were pre- and post-tested with community health workers as well as pregnant and post-partum women, contributed to achieving health knowledge and practice changes in Palestinian women and children. Hanan's health communications and marketing products included a series of four health education booklets, radio plays, a CD of songs, and a children's activity booklet. Hanan also supported local health education theatre performances in 35 communities.
